Cylindrical Snake Plant đ
The Cylindrical Snake Plant is the definition of sleek. With its tall, tubular leaves that fan out like green spears, this beauty brings instant style and structure to any space.
Once known as Sansevieria Cylindrica (now Dracaena Angolensis), itâs one of the toughest and most low maintenance houseplants around, practically indestructible and effortlessly cool.
⨠Why we love it:
đą Striking unusual shape, modern, minimalist, and elegant
đą Incredibly drought tolerant and beginner friendly
đą Air purifying powerhouse that thrives on neglect
đą Perfect for desks, hallways, or low light corners
đą Can be trained into braided or fan formations for extra visual impact
đĄ Light: Adaptable to almost any light level, from bright indirect light to low light spots. It even tolerates some direct sun once acclimated.
đ§ Water: Less is best! Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the quickest way to kill it, think desert, not jungle.
đą Humidity: Totally unfussy. Average home humidity is perfect.
đĄď¸ Temperature: Prefers warmth between 18-30°C but tolerates cooler conditions down to around 10°C.
đŤ Toxicity: Mildly toxic if ingested, keep out of reach of pets and children.
đż Top Tip: Wipe the leaves occasionally to remove dust and help it breathe. This plant thrives on neglect, so when in doubt, donât water it!
