Baby Hoya Verticillata (Wibergiae)
Delicate, glossy, and full of charm, Baby Hoya Verticillata (Wibergiae) is a gorgeous trailing houseplant with slender vines and attractive green leaves that can develop beautiful dark edging and subtle tones depending on light levels.
This baby Hoya may be small, but it brings plenty of character. Its elegant trailing habit makes it perfect for shelves, plant stands, or hanging planters where it can spill gently over the edges as it grows.
Compact now. Stunning later. Total future favourite.
✨ Why we love it:
🌿 Beautiful glossy foliage with elegant shape
🌿 Lovely trailing growth as it matures
🌿 Can produce clusters of sweetly scented star shaped flowers
🌿 Easy care and great for growing your Hoya collection
💡 Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. A little gentle morning or evening sun is fine, but avoid strong midday sunlight.
💧 Water: Allow the soil to dry out partly between waterings. Hoyas prefer to dry slightly rather than stay constantly wet.
🌱 Soil: A chunky, well draining mix is best. Bark, perlite and good airflow around the roots will help keep it happy.
🌡️ Temperature: Prefers warm, stable indoor temperatures. Keep away from cold draughts and sudden drops in temperature.
💦 Humidity: Enjoys moderate to higher humidity, but usually adapts well to normal household conditions.
🐾 Pet/Child Safe? Generally considered non toxic, though it’s still best kept out of reach of pets and little hands.
🌿 Top Tip: Don’t remove flower spurs after blooming. Hoyas flower again from the same spurs, so leaving them in place gives you the best chance of future blooms.
Baby Hoya Verticillata (Wibergiae) is a lovely choice for anyone who enjoys elegant trailing plants with a slightly collector feel. Easygoing, attractive, and full of potential, it’s a brilliant addition to any indoor jungle. 🌿
