The ultimate masters of disguise, Lithops affectionately known as Living Stones are some of nature’s most fascinating creations. Perfectly mimicking pebbles to survive in the wild, these tiny succulents are equal parts weird and wonderful.

With their unique patterns, colours, and low maintenance nature, they’re a dream addition for any collector who loves something a little unusual.

💡 Light: Love plenty of bright light. A sunny windowsill is ideal, but be sure to acclimate slowly to prevent scorching.

💧 Water: Less is more! Water sparingly and only when the plant’s outer leaves begin to wrinkle slightly. Overwatering is the most common cause of problems.

🌱 Humidity: Prefers dry air, these desert natives don’t like excess moisture.

🌡️ Temperature: Enjoy warmth between 20-30 °C. Keep above 10°C in winter and avoid cold, damp environments.

🚫 Toxicity: Non toxic to pets and humans, making them a safe and fun choice for any home.

🌿 Top Tip: Lithops have a natural rest period after flowering, during this time, reduce watering completely. New leaf pairs will slowly emerge from between the old ones, continuing their fascinating life cycle.
