Cute from a distance spicy up close. Opuntia microdasys ‘Indigo’ is a striking twist on the classic Bunny Ear Cactus, with rounded paddle shaped pads and clusters of deep indigo toned glochids that give it a bold, modern edge.
Its symmetrical “bunny ear” growth makes it playful, while the dusky colouring adds something a little moodier than the usual green varieties.

🌡️ Temperature: Enjoys warmth and sunshine. Protect from frost and cold draughts.
🐾 Pet/Child Safe? Not toxic, but covered in fine glochids that easily detach and irritate skin. Keep well out of reach.
🌿 Top Tip: Avoid touching the pads directly. Those tiny glochids are sneaky and far more irritating than they look.
