What is a Houseplant Home Visit? +
A Houseplant Home Visit is an in person plant consultation at your home.
Instead of looking at the plant away from its surroundings, we can assess it alongside the light, temperature, humidity, positioning, watering habits and other conditions it experiences every day.
How much does a Houseplant Home Visit cost? +
A 30 minute Home Visit costs £25.
Additional time is £8 for each extra 30 minutes. If anything else could involve an additional cost, we will explain it before anything is carried out.
Which areas do you cover? +
Oh Shoot! Plants is based in Congleton, Cheshire. Home Visits are available locally and in surrounding areas across Cheshire and Staffordshire.

Can you help with more than one houseplant? +
Absolutely.
Home Visits are particularly useful for collections because we can compare how different plants are responding to different parts of your home.
What if I do not know what my plants are? +
That is completely fine.
You do not need a spreadsheet full of Latin names before we arrive. We can help identify plants where possible and then work through their likely care requirements.
Can you help me decide where my plants should go? +
Yes. Positioning is one of the biggest advantages of a Home Visit.
We can look at rooms, windows, available light and your existing collection to help identify better positions for individual plants.
Can you help with houseplant pests during a Home Visit? +
Yes. We can inspect suspicious plants and help identify common houseplant pests and the signs they leave behind.
If you already know you have an active pest issue, mention it when booking so we know what we are coming to investigate.
What happens after the Home Visit? +
You will leave with clear recommendations about what we think needs changing and what to monitor next.
Where a problem needs more detailed assessment or monitoring, the information gathered during the visit can help build a clearer picture over time.
