The Plant Genie is our personalised houseplant sourcing service.
Tell us what you are looking for and we will see whether we can source it through our growers and suppliers, even if it is not currently available online or in the shop.
Can you find rare plants that are not currently in stock?+
That is exactly what the Plant Genie is for.
We can search for rare, collector and unusual plants beyond our current stock, although availability always depends on what our growers and suppliers can actually access.
Do I need to know the exact name of the plant?+
Nope.
If you know the species or cultivar, brilliant. If not, a photo, screenshot or description can still give us somewhere to start.
Can you source a particular size?+
Yes. Tell us roughly how large you want the plant to be and we can include that in the search.
Availability can vary, particularly with rarer plants, so we may show you the closest suitable options if the exact size is not currently available.
Can I give you a budget?+
Absolutely. In fact, we recommend it.
Tell us roughly what you are comfortable spending so we can focus the search on sensible options rather than finding your dream plant and discovering it costs more than your sofa.
How long does plant sourcing take?+
It depends entirely on the plant.
Some varieties may already be available through one of our suppliers. Rarer plants can take longer or only appear at particular times. We will never promise a plant exists just because you have asked for it.
Can you source memorial plants or plants for special occasions?+
Yes.
We can help find plants for memorials, meaningful gifts, homes, offices and other special occasions. We can take the available space and growing conditions into account as part of the search.
Can you find large plants?+
Yes. Tell us the approximate dimensions, light conditions and the sort of plant you have in mind.

What happens if you cannot find the exact plant?+
Sometimes the exact plant simply is not available.
If that happens, we can keep an eye out, discuss similar varieties or show you an alternative that has the characteristics you were looking for.
